Dear Open Hub Users,
We’re excited to announce that we will be moving the Open Hub Forum to
https://community.blackduck.com/s/black-duck-open-hub.
Beginning immediately, users can head over,
register,
get technical help and discuss issue pertinent to the Open Hub. Registered users can also subscribe to Open Hub announcements here.
On May 1, 2020, we will be freezing https://www.openhub.net/forums and users will not be able to create new discussions. If you have any questions and concerns, please email us at
[email protected]
For projects like Gnome and Mozilla, people often do register and collect one or two of the projects they work on. But they often miss a couple.

This is the same person:
https://www.ohloh.net/p/gedit/contributors/33996813760182
And I'd like to be able to tell ohloh:
(a) I think this is the same person
(b) Please tell this person that someone thinks the contribution is yours
Today all I can do is use https://www.ohloh.net/contributors/33996813760182/invites/new
to send an email via ohloh to an email address I know. But since ohloh knows my account and can tell me when I get kudos, I belive it knows gman's account and can send the mail to that account.
Ideally it should be possible for people of a high enough kudos rank to confirm a suggestion w/o waiting for the person to reply.
Is there any point in starting these kinds of threads anymore? Nothing is getting done here. I mean, it seems ohloh's dead. ohloh has some serious bugs, but they haven't fixed them in years. I doubt they are going to care enough or have the time to implement these kinds of extra features.
I just hope ohloh wakes up. Either that, or someone starts a new ohloh. That's just me, and I could be wrong.
