I want to discuss about this great functionnality : the packages and releases in the ohloh download area.
I like it more that the first download link because you can organize releases tree and it's could be interesting to provide to users the ability on ohloh to download a previous version for example.
But the main problem is that you duplicate the download source by uploading the file.
It would be great to provide a way to indicate a link like the initial version to sourceforge for example.
On ohloh and on sourceforge the projects are referenced and indexed by the number of downloads with counters.
So if I duplicate the download source by using the download packages, I will lose some visibility.
Do you think that the download system will be improved in this way ?
