Yeah, I did look into the faq - but honestly didn't understand what it is saying .. so hope that some kind soul might help me :-)
The concrete project to change is SwingX on java.net. It used to be backed by cvs and was changed over to subversion in June. Only recently, I noticed that we look very dead here, no commits since then (and that while we are very active switching our target jdk over to 1.6 and tons of issues fixed ;-) In hindsight, it seems obvious that we have to do something here but ..
So what I did so far is to add the svn repository enlistment
. Downloaded okay but nothing else happened. The old cvs is no longer available, but a bit afraid of deleting the enlistment for that, should/can I safely? What else to do to get those nice statistics and timelines and everything working again?
Thanks in advance!
Jeanette
Hi Jeanette,
As you discovered, an Ohloh report won't update until all of its repositories are successfully downloaded. Because the CVS is no longer available, Ohloh is prevented from updating.
I went ahead and removed the CVS repository from the list. Usually it's perfectly fine to delete a repository enlistment, because we don't actually delete any data from our system when you do this -- just the pointer to the data. It's easy to undo/redo.
The report now shows commits from this weekend, and it looks OK to me -- let me know if something is still out of place.
Thanks,
Robin
