How to upload files bigger than 10MB? How to use SFTP or whatever?
Thanks
Hi evolution,
The Upload FAQ might answer your questions. Let us know if it doesn't.
Thanks, but I've set my SSH-2RSA key with Puttygen. Then via FileZilla i've connected to server upload.ohloh.net with my username. I got question for password, I've tried everything but nothing successful. What to do now?
Hi evolution,
I'm not a FileZilla expert. Please excuse a simple question: did you add the RSA key to FileZilla's SFTP Settings before trying to connect?
On my MAC, this part of the UI is available at FileZilla/preferences; presumably it'll be in a similar place in Windows, perhaps under Options.
I am NOOB! I forgot that!
TNX Andy!
Bug...
During the upload, i've uploaded instruct.xml and now my file has 19.8MB but not 128MB!
Hi evolution,
I'm sorry I did not reply sooner; we might have avoided much of this trouble.
Ohloh does not generally support large downloads. For ISO images, you'll need to find an alternative download service.
I can see several errors in our logs that indicate that you uploaded the instruct.xml file before placing your files on our servers. Make sure that your files are fully and accurately uploaded before you upload your instruct.xml. Once you upload your instruct file, Ohloh will immediately consume the files, no matter whether the upload is still in progress or not. This probably explains the partial upload.
