Hi Thomas,

The alias feature can only be used to map names within a single, current repository. You can't use it to change names between old and new repositories.

I've matched your account to the new repository. Let me know if you have any more problems.

Thanks,
Robin

I have pretty much the same problem, I am unable to 'merge' the 'okinsey' contributing to the easyXDM project with my own account - and I am also unable to find any way to remove my self as a contributor so that I can use the 'I am this person' button.

hrm...i think i've failed.

when i'd like to use the button i am this person i get: You already have a position on this project. Ohloh supports only one position per project. Edit the aliases table instead.

If I go to the aliases table - i can do nothing.

There's got to be some manager for this aliasthing?!

Could you please re-roll my alias-table again Robin?

Thanks in advance.

@okinsey: Are you still having trouble? I cannot find any obvious problem with your account -- you seem to be successfully matched to contributor 'okinsey' on the easyXDM project.

@Thomas: Which project? Which person?

When I look at wombatcms, I see only a single contribution, which is linked to your account. From my point of view everything looks OK.

Thanks,
Robin

@Robin Luckey:
First I had a project called easyXSS, this had a contributor called okinsey that was not matched against my account. This contributor had a Kudos rank of 8.

Due to not being able to rename a project that has published files I created a new project called easyXDM when I had to rename the project - this currently uses the same repo so the stats showed up correctly in the new project.
Since I 'wanted' the Kudo rank from the easyxss/okinsey I added that as an alias to my account.
I then continued to add the easyXDM/okinsey as an alias, and of course this caused my stats to show double since both easyxss/okinsey and easyxdm/okinsey were counted individually on the same repo.

So I continued to remove the enlistment from the easyxss project, and ended up deleting it later.

At this point the easyxss/okinsey lost its kudo - and Im wondering, is there anyway I could get this back?
If its true that only 6% has a kudo of 8 then I would very much like to get it back :)
