Immediately after getting my account I went through and stacked every FLOSS project I knew that I used on a regular basis. Unfortunately I ran into two that are not in the project list.
I almost submitted the projects myself, but I was not sure if that was considered considerate since the project developers might not want it listed here for some reason (don't know why, though).
Is it considered common courtesy to not submit projects you are not directly involved with? Or is it okay to submit any project as long as you try to provide accurate information?
Great question!
Ohloh originated out of the need to gain insight into open source projects. We therefore encourage anyone to add projects they're interested in - whether they contribute to them or not. Incidentally, if any project owner or contributor has issues with our reports we encourage them to contact us so we can address them.
