I have found no working method to clear the location setting for my profile.
When I click on clear
near the Your city and country
field, the map is reset, but the old location appears again once I click on Save profile
. Deleting the contents of the Your city and country
field doesn't work either.
Pointers to FAQs or forum posts would be appreciated. A search didn't turn up anything related.

Thanks for letting us know about this bug. I've deployed a fix.
Using the clear button and then saving the form will now clear your location.
