Hello,
We are looking into this will keep you informed once completed.
Happy to help!
Open Hub earlier appeared to be of value for our project, but with all of the reported projects including ours not being updated in months and the issues not being really resolved, I'm not sure having our project languish here longer is of any value.
We were initially requested by the Outercurve Foundation to include our project on Ohloh/Open Hub.
It seems that all of the canned responses

, but nothing gets done to resolve the problems.
Sorry, but that is how our project is viewing our presence here.
Your response is appreciated.
Hi Ron;
Thanks for being so frank about your feelings on the matter. I confess that we've not been able to keep all the projects up to date over the past few months and it's been a herculean task for our little team to do all that we have been able to do.
May I please ask for some continued patience? We remain committed to providing up to date analysis on active Open Source Software projects and have the continued support of the Black Duck executive team. Please understand that the Open Hub is a free resource from which Black Duck generates no revenues nor extracts any contacts or marketing data -- other than when folks choose to click on a link to a Black Duck blog or product page. While our team is small, we run not only a back-end with about a dozen and a half data collectors and analysis servers processing over 600,000 code locations generating analysis for each of them but also the web site with literally millions of pages for hundreds of thousands of users.
Here's what I'm including in my upcoming blog post about what we were able to accomplish in 2016:
All this on top of addressing critical production defects, responding to user questions (sometimes more slowly than we would have wished), addressing performance issues, attacks on our site, and all the other standard things that happens when running a non-trivial web application.
We feel that we are really getting through the pile of issues and are on the cusp of getting the back end processes back on track, and I'm asking for your continued support.
Yours,
Peter
https://www.openhub.net/p/GADSOS got updated one day ago but it is now completely missing all of the code analysis ... before two days ago, there was analysis on 1.2+ million lines of code.
Here's the error message showing:
No recognizable code
Open Hub computes statistics on FOSS projects by examining source code and commit history in source code management systems. This project has code locations but that location contains no recognizable source code for Open Hub to analyze.
Peter,
Thanks for your reply. Your response is very much appreciated.
If I might offer a suggestion, your response above would have been welcomed months ago in either your blog, Twitter, this forum, etc. Letting everyone know the status - what you wrote above - would have avoided a lot of the concerns regarding the viability of this site.
Please consider regular
updates to participants in the future.
Having said that I look forward to having our project here ... but please fix the error shown in the post just prior to this one ... everything is gone for our project.
Ron
Hi Ron;
I just ran a complete job and new analysis and all came out as expected.
Also, the home page has a new What's New image with a link to the new blog post with that 2016 overview. I agree that I could have done better in keeping folks informed.
All the best,
pdp
