You should really add some way for people to change the wrong information you display on some projects. For instance, the Scala project is way off the mark:

  • it stopped recording SVN commits sometime at the end of 2006. The activity is much higher than before, though your software says it's dying out.

  • the LOC is somewhere around 6.000LOC, which is ridiculous

  • it says it's mostly Java, but that's wrong. It's mostly Scala (maybe that's because you're looking at the wrong repository).

The bottom line: provide a feedback loop. Your automatic systems are great, but sometimes fail.

Cheers,

Hi Iulian,

The main problem is that Ohloh simply doesn't have a Scala parser. I'm not at all familiar with Scala, but if the syntax is similar to other languages it might be pretty simple to adapt Ohloh's parser to read Scala. The parser is open source and can be found at labs.ohloh.net if you want to take a whack at it.

If we're looking at the wrong repository, please by all means edit the list of repositories for the project. Ohloh is driven by user edits: if you find mistakes, feel free to fix them.

It also looks like we haven't had a successful update of the (wrong) repository in several months. Does this old repository still exist?
