When I look at the commits on the Herrie page, it looks like it hasn't been synced since the 26th of october, which is almost 3 months already. Is there something wrong with the Git checkouts? I just tried the URL and it should just work.

Yes, there was a problem on our end that resulted in this job being stuck for several months. I've cleared up the problem, and the report should update today.
The problem is, after the report updates, the data will still be several months old. I'll schedule a new update as soon as the current one finishes. That should put you straight again :-)

I guess several other projects have the same problem. e.g. gallery2 (http://www.ohloh.net/projects/13).

, if you simply mean by that they haven't been updated in a while :-)
In Gallery 2's case, it appears we had a could of server timeouts, and the job got canceled. That's pretty unusual for SourceForge. I'll reschedule the download and keep an eye on it today.
