I have not yet implemented a wifidog - been using dd-wrt - I have a simple question: Can I set up a default page (like a ToS acceptance page) without having people log in?

Hi All, Im currently working on a project of using captive portal. after checking some of the solutions i decided to go with Wifidog. im to use perl & python to create the web page interface. Would anyone kindly advice me on the initial steps to start with? Thanx alot in advance

I'm installing Wifidog auth server for the first time. At the end of the install.php tool i'm asked to create a new admin user. The first time I tried to create it and I got stuck. As suggested from the Ubuntu installation tutorial I removed the ... [More] "window.location.reload(true);" on line 931 of install.php. After this change, once I click on next I'm redirected to the same page (the one for user creation), the form is disappeared and there are no buttons to go back or continue. If I'm not wrong, I should expect a redirect to the wifidog admin page. Have you any suggestion? thanks, Paolo [Less]

I have wifidog all setup and working, when I type in  http://etc. I get redirected to the login ... [More] page. And in debug mode I see it being captured -> Captured 192.168.1.109 requesting..etc. But  https://etc isnt doing anything, it times out after awhile in the browser. Nothing happens in debug mode. Somehow wifidog is not triggered to http_callback_404. I have no idea what is wrong and google doesnt find me anything about this. Thank you very much! Best regards, [Less]

When a user connects to the hotspot, a captive portal popup window with the login page is opened automatically. When the user clicks de login button, the login is performed ok and then the portal page is loaded inside the popup window. The problem is that this captive portal popup window is closed inmediatly and the user can't visualize the portal page. Do you know if It's possible to open the portal page in a new window when the user clicks the login button? It's very important in my hotspot project that the user could see the portal page when the user logged in. Thank you very much for your time.
