Oli gives us an update on the former Motivation Research Team’s participation in the annual EMPAMOS barcamp, where they connected with the community, shared their research, and explored new ideas for enhancing teamwork and leadership.

The TYPO3 Localization Team gathered in Düsseldorf for a full week during the TYPO3 Community Sprint Q4/2024 and made the TYPO3 extension, Crowdin, a reality. The extension provides an in-context feature which enables TYPO3 backend users to translate labels of the TYPO3 Core and extensions directly in the TYPO3 backend.

Time flies, and with the fourth community sprint of the year almost complete, we’re ready to look back on another year of server maintenance work in the TYPO3 universe.

The TYPO3 Association member poll for the Q1/2025 budget ideas has been finished and the four winning ideas will be funded by the TYPO3 Association.

A budget proposal titled Future of StaticFileCache, was submitted and approved for Q4 2024, aiming to advance the development of this popular TYPO3 extension. Over the past few weeks, the planned milestones have been successfully completed and are now part of the newly released version 15.1.1.
