If all the elements that meet at a vertex cannot be traversed through edges connected to that vertex, the mesh optimisation method used by ICOM fails. This is fixed by duplicating that point so that such an adjancy list is not formed. This unusual situation happens when the contour being used to recover the coastline intersections with a saddle point in the bathymetry. Some messages were also commented out.
