As the author I just love this Window Manager. It does exactly what I want and there's no need for any customizations because everything I use is turned on and tweaked just the way I like by default.
All Hail Bobf!

All Hail Bobf!
If was looking for a window manager that was easy to modify, in a language that I like: common lisp.
It might not have all the feature of other tiling window managers yet, but soon it will. Clean interfaces and concepts, so fixing bugs and trying out new code is actually fun ;)
Switch to this Window Manager if you want to learn Common Lisp, since you will learn it as you customize it! While you're at it, learn Emacs Lisp at the same time!
It should be familiar to those who use screen, since at its core StumpWM is just screen for X.
It took about a month for me to decide that I will not be switching to any other WM, although there are a few features I would like, but plan to implement myself as I learn the required skills. The code is fairly stable, and its at the point where someone who knows CL could step in and fix those few and far between bugs, but in the mean time.. I'll keep studying.
