Hi all, Sorry about the downtime yesterday, had some server updates, and Thursday end up being the more quiet day There's an update out now to 2.1, pushing it to 2.1.933. There are various fixes in this update, the major ones being fixes to how ... [More] pilot pay is calculated (alot more accurate now), allowing the use of 7 for Sunday on imports, and other fixes with hours, and some admin stuff. For details, you can check out the Build Log forum, it gives the bug numbers of all the fixes. Thanks all, happy flying [Less]

Hi everyone, I'm proud to announce that version 2.1 is now available! This release has a ton of improvements, including an upgrade to Google Maps v3, and a complete overhaul of financials and ACARS (more customizable!), and a multitude of other ... [More] improvements and bug fixes. All-in-all, there are over 100 different changes and fixes. You can see all of the details here. When upgrading, it's important to read the changelog! There were a lot of changes to the front-end templates, and the affected templates are listed there. And to further celebrate the release of 2.1, use the coupon "21GO" on fivedev hosting (http://www.fivedev.net) to get 90% off of your first month of hosting! There's also domain registration available now. Thanks everyone, and a HUGE thanks to everyone to helped test this release! Edit: I've released an update to fix an error I made in kACARS. It's upto build 927 right now. Sorry for the problem! Thanks Cheers, Nabeel [Less]

Atlassian has granted phpVMS a license to their Jira bug tracker. The old bug tracker (Trac), was starting to get spammed. Those of you who have account on Trac might be receiving an email about an account being setup, so don't be alarmed. I am just ... [More] moving the data over to the new tracker. As a result of this, any add-on developers who also want a 'project' under this new tracker system can apply for one, and I will set you up with a project under it, as a Project Manager with it. The advantage being that it makes it much easier for phpVMS users to report bugs and get resolutions, and allowing you to streamline your own efforts and not have to find, setup, and manage your own system for that. It's also easier for users not having to have multiple logins to manage for multiple projects. 2.1 is also slated to release soon (as in this weekend soon)! Keep a lookout [Less]

I've made the decision that as of 2.1, FSACARS won't be supported anymore. The connector and code will still be there and working, but there are just too many issues to continue wasting time on kludging it to work. The client has not been in ... [More] development for years. However, there is a free alternative - kACARS. It's an excellent ACARS app, very stable, and in active development. phpVMS 2.1 will include the ACARS connector piece, so all you have to download is the client. You can view the kACARS thread here, the documentation here. Thanks! [Less]
