xith-tk

The project has moved to SourceForge.net : http://sourceforge.net/projects/xith-tk

The central repository for all non-core community based Xith3D contributions including geometry loaders, example code, documentation, and helper libraries.

The 'official' Xith3D community site is xith.org and is the best starting point for new users.

Unlike the core project which has stringent access requirements (for good reasons), access to the Xith Toolkit project will be granted to all people wishing to contribute their code. People will still of course be "in charge" of their own creations - but essentially no developer with something to contribute will be turned down.

By taking advantage of the java.net resources, this may hopefully foster a more coordinated approach to the development of Xith3D tools. Creation of other aspects of the project such as documentation and examples can also benefit.

In line with the idea of having organised development yet still keeping the development of xith tools independent, all utilities are maintained on an individual bases and and development is more or less independent of the other utilities. Hence, there is no unified release of the "toolkit" as a whole but more the developers can pick and choose which tools they wish to use with Xith3D
