Today we released the first version of the Origo Dashboard widget for OS X (available in the downloads section). It provides a handy workitem browser which allows you to quickly see what's going on in your favorite project(s). Additionally it comes ... Today the new Origo menu in the left sidebar has been released. It provides a cleaner overview and an easier arrangement of the single menu items. Also the single items are grouped more logically (personal, project specific, project administrative specific, Origo global).

Another announcement of new features: The user profile has been enhanced with a list of friends (a maximum of six randomly selected friends will be displayed), a [Send Message] link to send emails to any user without publishing your own email ... Right now the new workitem type 'comment' has been introduced. Such a 'comment' workitem is created every time one creates a new forum topic, posts into a forum, comments a page, comments a picture, and so on. A 'comment' workitem is also created if ... [More] you edit an existing comment - just to keep your audience up-to-date. Like the other workitems, you can activate or deactivate the workitem subscription in your Settings page. Another new feature: now you can reset your profile picture to the default picture if you don't want to show yourself anymore. [Less]

Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present to you the 'user profile' which is finally available! You can edit personal data and contact informations there. All the informations are visible only to logged-in origo users. You can find your user profile in ... [More] the left menu. It is called 'My account'. Later when the notion of friends is introduced, the privacy settings will be more fine-grained. Then you should be able to display your contact informations only to your friends (if you wish). [Less]
