A new stable has been released. Its major features are fixes for crashes, specifically when changing full animation settings when chat messages are shown and due to incorrect ownership transfer of road depots upon bankruptcy.

We're moving quickly forward towards the next stable release version, starting with its first RC, 1.4.4-RC1. This version fixes a crash which happened in some cases when 'full animation' was enabled in multiplayer mode. Also a small issue with cargo

A new stable has been released. Its major feature is the fix of a desync bug in multi-player games. While at it, a number of smaller issues have been solved too.

Two crashes have been found and fixed in 1.4.3-RC2. Thus we continue with another release candidate. Please give it a decent play-test, especially also in multiplayer games. If you find any issues or bugs, please tell us and make use of our bug tracker.

A desync bug was found in 1.4, so we're moving forward to the next stable release rather quickly.
The desync was fixed, along with a number of other issues. Have a look at the changelog for details.

It's weekend and time to play. Maybe a new game with the brand new OpenTTD 1.4.2?
In the RC2 no major show stoppers were found, so we release this now as stable version. See the changelog here.
If you find any bugs, please tell us and report it in our bug tracker. Otherwise enjoy and possibly tell others :)

Despite the sunny summer weather (or perhaps thanks to the warm weather), several people found new bugs in the previous release candidate.
As highlights, ships used the wrong sound for a break down, and there was a sudden loss of tractive effort
