This is about the most awesome code open browser since the invention of wheel, and, well, cscope & ctags :)

Compared to Google Code it doesn't provide search for a regular expressions, though its search capabilities are quite useful, and it brings extra value of being OpenSource, and being able to highlight syntax of tens of languages (all that can be parsed with ctags, bringing you the ability to add your grammars easily).

It integrates with most popular VCSs, including Mercurial, SVN, Git and even some less popular ones.

Backed by Lucene indexing engine it scales very well for big projects, as proved by use for NetBSD, OpenSolaris and others, providing fast search for tens of gigabytes of code.

Giving if five stars, and I am quite confident my colleagues, who were very much impressed with it when we deployed it for our project would also agree.
