Project Summary
NNTP newsreader. Java desktop application. Currently reads news, including multipart binaries, but does not post. Serialisation of group information implemented, header information in progress. Plans for multi-server reading and posting, anonymisation of posts with encryption, P2P element, choice of storage methods (file, RDB), and distributed operation (thin client, caching of news on server).
