I've gone way back to the basics. I got rid of anything that was really part of the MODEL and just conconcentrated on getting the Layout and the Controllers somewhat working. Working to put the Views and Layouts in place. Something about this is hurting my head. I'm so used to including my View logic in my Controller files. Feels very strange / unnecessary to have the View logic in its own container. This might just be an indicator that I am doing it wrong. Still trying to break it apart.
