HiWhen I am trying to install Mubox-1.3.0.69, it is crashing on Windows XP 32bit SP3. I wanted to know what pre-requisites that we need to follow. Any installation guide for this?Comments: ** Comment from web user: SEWilson ** The only pre-req is ... [More] Microsoft's .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. The SP1 bit is important, because I use calls present in SP1 not present in pre-SP1. Please visit http://www.smallestdotnet.com for more information on your current versions and how to update. [Less]

Here is a sneak-preview of the upcoming 1.4 release.I'm releasing this primarily to get some feedback, I'm not providing support for any NEW feature that was not already present in 1.3.0.69.I'm unable to provide documentation for Keys Config, please ... [More] ask questions and I will answer them. There is no UI, and you must edit your config file to enable the feature and configure Keys. All 1.3 UI parts are still present and properly modify the config files for you. this version does everything 1.3 did. This includes "Keyboard Multicast" and "Blocked Keys" config. The new "Advanced Keyboard Config" and the old "Keyboard Multicast" features do not overlap in functionality, and serve different purposes. Keys Config makes CAS/FTL Modifiers possible. Keyboard Multicast is responsible for multi-client keyboard event distribution. Keys Config is new in 14 and is NOT necessary to make effective use of Mubox, thus, the current Quick Start Guide linked on the main page still applies. Here is a short list of some significant changes in 1.4: (NEW) All Configuration is saved to the .config for the application, previous versions used the Windows Registry. If you're updating from 1.3 you will need to reconfigure everything, this will not affect your 1.3 config at all. (NEW) Option to disable Mouse Capture (independently of Keyboard Multicast) (NEW) Option to dsiable "Client Switching" feature, e.g. the ALT-TAB hook. (NEW) Option of SysTray Menu to Toggle Server UI. (NEW) Mouse Buffer option, which enables 'atomic' clicks at the client. Helps stabilize Mouse Clone, may improve 'slave' responsivity regardless. (NEW) Keys Config making FTL gameplay in WoW possible with this release. (NEW) Keys Config now allow you to configure a "Desktop Hot Key", e.g. for activating 3rd party apps such as Ventrillo. (UPDATE) Muboxer AddOn auto-repair no longer repairs all items, it only repairs your currently equipped gear. (UPDATE) Muboxer AddOn has a new "/mbx vendor N" command to set the quality level to "N" a value 0-5. The default is 0, Grays. Be careful if you use this it WILL sell everything, and the vendor buyback won't record it all. As always, a constant improvement of all code. There have been many reductions and refactors made to improve performance, fix known bugs, and open up some new possibilities in future releases. For a full list of changes please check the Issues page, everything listed "Fixed" is present in this beta. Many improvements have been made to the mouse which should correct it for most of you, specifically "click through" and "glitching" should be resolved for everyone.I'm providing an installer this time around because of the new config file and the volatility of the 1.3 releases opting to use the user Temp folder. If you don't want to use the installer, you can unpack the exe provided using 7z, WinRAR, or a number of other free archive utilities as with all past releases.Happy New Years! [Less]

Most if not all features of Mubox can be configured via the SysTray Icon.Alternatively, you can manually edit the Application Configuration File. This is named "Mubox.QuickLaunch.exe.config" and it is an XML document that is created by Mubox after ... [More] the first run.You should not edit this file while Mubox is running, Mubox will overwrite your changes.Here is what my App Config looks like, I 5-box from a single machine, I play windowed mode, maximized on a single display. I use Mouse Clone, and Keyboard Multicast most of my keys. Lastly, I have some Advanced Keyboard Configuration options set because (i) I want access to my Windows Key, locally and (ii) I use an FTL-like macro for setting my targets.<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><configuration> <configSections> <section name="MuboxConfig" type="Mubox.Configuration.MuboxConfigSection, Mubox, Version=1.4.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" /> </configSections> <MuboxConfig MouseCloneMode="Pressed" PreferredTheme="Default" AutoStartServer="true" EnableMulticast="true" AutoRunOnQuickLaunch="true"> <Clients> <add Name="SHON" CanLaunch="true" EnableIsolation="true" MemoryMB="1280" ServerName="localhost" ServerPortNumber="17520" PerformConnectOnLoad="false" ApplicationPath="D:\WoW\wow.exe" IsolationPath="D:\MBX\" ProcessorAffinity="0" WindowPosition="0,0" WindowSize="0,0" InstallWoWAddOn="true" WindowHandle="0"> <Keys> <add InputKey="Q" OutputKey="Q" OutputModifiers="CONTROL, ALT, SHIFT" EnableNoModActiveClient="true" /> </Keys> </add> <add Name="CRYSAUCE" CanLaunch="true" EnableIsolation="true" MemoryMB="1024" ServerName="localhost" ServerPortNumber="17520" PerformConnectOnLoad="false" ApplicationPath="D:\WoW\wow.exe" IsolationPath="D:\MBX\" ProcessorAffinity="0" WindowPosition="0,0" WindowSize="0,0" InstallWoWAddOn="true" WindowHandle="0"> <Keys> <add InputKey="Q" OutputKey="Q" OutputModifiers="CONTROL, ALT" EnableNoModActiveClient="true" /> </Keys> </add> <add Name="PAPERFACE" CanLaunch="true" EnableIsolation="true" MemoryMB="1024" ServerName="localhost" ServerPortNumber="17520" PerformConnectOnLoad="false" ApplicationPath="D:\WoW\wow.exe" IsolationPath="D:\MBX\" ProcessorAffinity="0" WindowPosition="0,0" WindowSize="0,0" InstallWoWAddOn="true" WindowHandle="0"> <Keys> <add InputKey="Q" OutputKey="Q" OutputModifiers="ALT, SHIFT" EnableNoModActiveClient="true" /> </Keys> </add> <add Name="HELENAYA" CanLaunch="true" EnableIsolation="true" MemoryMB="1024" ServerName="localhost" ServerPortNumber="17520" PerformConnectOnLoad="false" ApplicationPath="D:\WoW\wow.exe" IsolationPath="D:\MBX\" ProcessorAffinity="0" WindowPosition="0,0" WindowSize="0,0" InstallWoWAddOn="true" WindowHandle="0"> <Keys> <add InputKey="Q" OutputKey="Q" OutputModifiers="CONTROL, SHIFT" EnableNoModActiveClient="true" /> </Keys> </add> <add Name="ZIIGGEE" CanLaunch="true" EnableIsolation="true" MemoryMB="1024" ServerName="localhost" ServerPortNumber="17520" PerformConnectOnLoad="false" ApplicationPath="D:\WoW\wow.exe" IsolationPath="D:\MBX\" ProcessorAffinity="0" WindowPosition="0,0" WindowSize="0,0" InstallWoWAddOn="true" WindowHandle="0"> <Keys> <add InputKey="Q" OutputKey="Q" OutputModifiers="CONTROL" EnableNoModActiveClient="true" /> </Keys> </add> </Clients> <Keys> <add InputKey="LeftWindows" OutputKey="LeftWindows" SendToDesktop="true" /> </Keys> </MuboxConfig></configuration> [Less]

Mubox is a multiplexer emulator written in C#/.NET utilizing WPF and WinAPI. It offers "Keyboard Multicast", "Mouse Clone" and multiple-clients locally and remotely. Please visit the Issue Tracker page and VOTE on Version 1.4 features. User voting ... [More] will determine how I triage/prioritize new features in Version 1.4, likewise if you want something added but don't see it listed don't hesitate to open a new issue. Even if it seems like it would be a radical departure from how things currently work, it may be that you have a good idea that would benefit a lot of people, and I'm always open to new ideas. Mubox has been in "Maintenance Mode" for roughly 3 months. During this time I have been focusing entirely on bug reports, and the only feature changes which have been made were made solely to address deficits in the current functionality of Mubox (for example Mouse Clone Mode, Client/Server Encryption and Muboxer macro updates. Launch in another window Please visit MrShaunWilson.com where you can find more information about Mubox, and its author.Update: Content is currently being updated and migrated, and eventually the help content on my personal website will be taken offline and replaced entirely by Wiki Pages on CodePlex. Much of the Help Content within Mubox is slightly out of date since Mubox has evolved much faster than the documentation has, thus the Documentation here on CodePlex (if available) will always be more accurate. However, until migration is complete you may still need to visit topics within the Help system within Mubox. A good example is Game Isolation and Mouse Clone.
