Video editing under Linux used to be pain. I was successfully using Blender but to me an editor "for normal people" was still missing - until I found this. Kdenlive is intuitive, similar to most other editors, yet also powerful - aside from the standard features - such as cutting, transitions, effects, sound tracks or text - there are advanced features - such as histograms, spectrograms or GUI themes. This really helps bring Linux and FOSS to more people.
