Project Summary

Kaiku (Japanese for "evolution", Finnish for "echo") is a web-based reservation system for physical items. Kaiku allows to check what is in the inventory and to keep track of who has borrowed what items. The software is based on the Django framework and used authentication is based on Shibboleth. The software is used at Computer Science and Engineering department of the Aalto University to reserve and keep track of phones, tablets and other gadgets borrowed for students.
