Project Summary

ISWE is a set of Tools, patterns and a methodology to improve quality and speed in J2EE Projects.

One of the key issues in J2EE projects is the large set of technologies that you can choose, like CASE tools, application servers, web containers, IDEs, frameworks, and so on.
In many cases, this is the main cause of a huge set of problems, but mainly difficulties in standardization of architectures and the lack of a true productive and integrated environment for the rookie J2EE developer, in tasks like the common J2EE test/development/publishing/debug cycle.
There are four major objectives in this project.
First of all, the creation of a true integrated environment to the project development, with automatized code generation from a domain model class from a CASE tool, using a testable and robust architecture, integrated in the WTP 1.0 environment (Eclipse). This architecture is fully extensible, based in extension points that let you personalize every layer of the application.
Second, a sample-project to the application-generator, where all the main types of Use cases are applied to the generation.
Third, a lib project needed for the architecture of the generated applications using JRNA.
And lastly, documentation on how you can improve your development cycle using the JRNA.

The project is just starting, with some pendencies like the docs, videos and tutorials about the tool.
