Project Summary

JEOPS (www.jeops.org) is a rule-based engine in JSR 94, developed by Federal University of Pernambuco, from Brazil. The input is a text description of a rule in a Java-like language to generate Java classes, with the rule implementation, to be used by any application.

Our objetive is to develop a user interface to facilitate the creation and manipulation of rules by a non-expert user. The concepts to be used in the rule elaboration are organized in an ontology base, managed by Protégé (protege.stanford.edu).
