The Monummenta Hyginia project aims provides on-line access to manuscript copies mades by José Hyginio which stir up brazilian history interest, and are in Neaderlands. These files referes to Neaderlands ocupation period in Brazil's Northest, at XVI century. The title, Monummenta Hygínia, is in José Hygínio Duarte Pereira's honor, a historian scholar, of Pernambuco. Between the years 1885 and 1886, he was in the Netherlands, in a special mission delegated by Instituto Archeológico e Geographico Pernambucano – IAHGP.
This is a research project and has been developed in Liber, a research laboratory in Federal University of Pernambuco. It uses the following technologies and patterns: Hibernate, MySQL, DataAccessObject, Abstract Factory, JavaBeans and plans to use WebWork, Lucene, Spring and fancy patterns like IoC.
