Project Summary

The HoldemHand Project started off as a way to demonstrate and teach about the power and flexability of C++ as an Object Orientated Programming Language.

The lead developer jizzurp, has written all of the core classes as well as most of the objects, etc. He will use this application to continue teaching me the in's and out's of C, C++, and hopefully C#.

Goals: - First, get me ([email protected])up to speed on the logic of OOP and the syntax of C++. - During the early development of this application we realized what a great set of example code, logic, and documentation we could develope and utilize in multiple ways. - So beyond that, this project will probably get used in several different ways. With the core classes written so neatly, 'thanks jizzurp', we will more than likely add functionality such as 'Simulate Texas Holdem Game' or even build in support for similar poker games. - One of my personal goals is to create a simulation-based C++ tutorial and use some of this code to do that.
