Encog currently makes use of the Java and C# type double. The double type is used for all weight matrixes, training data and calculations. I frequently get forum posts and emails asking if maybe float might be a better choice. Just to review the two types.

IBM has completed another feat of man against machine. In 1997 IBM’s Deep Blue supercomputer defeated chess champion Garry Kasparov. Now, in Febuary 2011 IBM has defeated Jeopardy champions Brad Rutter and Ken Jennings using a supercomputer named Watson.

I have not done UML diagrams for Encog in awhile. I know there have been some requests. I have yet to find a really good tool for doing this, that is not really really expensive. Most of the early Encog diagrams were done with Rational Rose. But
