Applied patch from [email protected]: I've added simple and very useful feature - ability to eject disks by UUID specified in /etc/fstab. eject /media/ipod where ipod specified as UUID=1234-5678 now works as charm.

Increase delay for SCSI eject from 2 to 10 seconds. According to Gary Hade <[email protected]>, this is needed for the Quantum GoVault removable hard drive on some IBM servers.

Some devices apparently need to be opened read/write to eject, so try to open read/write and if that fails fall back to read only.
