In 7.3 we are introducing an improved completion in the EiffelStudio editor. In addition to being able to see the feature name, feature signature, you will now be able to see the contracts of the routine as you can see in the screenshot below. If you have any other suggestions we could do to improve the completion, let us know!

Our Linux version of EiffelStudio is compiled for Linux distributions made in 2003 (i.e. Linux kernel 2.6 and GNU C Library 2.3.3). The benefit is the guarantee that EiffelStudio will be running out of the box on all Linux platforms (assuming they ... [More] are post 2003). Using such an old target for Linux also implies that EiffelStudio cannot be as optimized as it could for Linux users using most recent Linux distribution. You can see a little bit of history of Linux at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_kernel#Maintenance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glibc#Version_history I've created 2 polls so that you can tell us which version of Linux you are using. This will help us target EiffelStudio appropriately by providing the best experience and performance for our Linux users. Polls: Which version of the Linux kernel are you using? Which version of the Linux C library are you using? Thanks for providing your feedback, Manu [Less]
