Project Summary

The Easy Shipping System manages shipping orders. Shipping orders kann be entered or imported from ERP systems like JDE, SAP or others. Statistics about the shipping orders are available. The Easy Shipping System accesses special label printers for printing address labels. Automatic stamps, conveyors and barcode scanners can be accessed. The Easy Shipping System can create labels for all major shipping companies (e.g. DHL, UPS, FedEx, GLS, TNT and more). Information about the labelled parcels can be send to the shipping companies and information about the send parcels can be retrieved from the shipping companies to verify the transport. The Easy Shipping System can work alone as well as several instances can work together. The user can work with the Easy Shipping System in an interactive mode or the Easy Shipping System can work automatically in a special automated mode. Informative statistics will be available for the user, too. An integrated Webserver could be used for other people to search for shipping orders and view their status, change their addresses and much more.
