DAR

Dar does what tar, gzip, afio and cpio should do, but do not:

- create backup archives

- compress each file such that a single bit error does not destroy the whole archive

- ensure file integrity

- make differential and incremental backups

- slice the backup archive into smaller files

- supports archives larger than 2 GB

- includes and excludes control what is backuped
