seems like it would be your hosts server. i have seen c5 run slow on both godaddy and network solutions before. your site did load fairly quickly for me though.....

Our site using C5 appear to be running very slow, I'm paying for a service on freehostia.

Jereme if you checkout http://dev2.pixelfishcreative.com/blog/2010/3/ it now has taken the calendar template but for some reason it doesnt show the avatar. Its reading the exact same template as http://dev2.pixelfishcreative.com/blog/.

Can't really debug this without an example, but most likely its something with how you moved it or the relative paths on your live setup.....

just re-read your post.
I think we're getting "home" in to the main nav with a custom template on the autonav. Perhaps thats the right way to go about this.....

In the autonav there are a number of settings you should play around with. They are admitted a bit complicated sounding at a glance, but if you look at the preview tab it will show you what part of the tree it's going to bring back. Depending on how deep .......
