As you know, this meant that you literally had to uninstall all your favorite extensions every time you tested and submitted a bug report. Not anymore! Based on a proposal I made, arion_p refactored the way our "MediaPortal Debug" shortcut works. You can find the Shortcut on the Windows Start Programs Menu under Team MediaPortal. When you start the Debug Shortcut, now you will see 3 options: Report a Bug to Team MediaPortal This will start MediaPortal using the default skin, and only plugins which were part of the release version you installed. To allow our Designers and Developers among the Community to keep track of these changes, we have ... [More] created separate sections in our Wiki, listing what is required to keep your plugin or skin compatible with the latest release of MediaPortal. Developers should take a look at the new Development Changes page (http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/MediaPortal1_Development/MP_1_0_1-to-1_1_0) in our Wiki. While the majority of our users do not have problems with the update process of MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC2, there are some reports about issues. We are currently processing the reports and trying to find solutions. I will update the list in this news ... [More] with the information we collect during the next days. We already have begun to fix the issues for RC3, which is scheduled to be released 4 weeks after the RC2 release. If you have not installed 1.1.0 RC2 yet, then we recommend to use the "fresh install" option rather then the "update". [Less]

With the release of Mediaportal 1.1.0 RC2 we are one step closer to the final release. The changelog will become smaller and smaller with every RC release, because the number of issues will decrease as well. Important changes since 1.1.0 ... [More] RC1: [fixed] Random crashes when starting / stopping playback [fixed] several memory leaks [fixed] several issues in the TvGuide which caused that scheduled recordings were not displayed correctly [fixed] Channel Linkage Scanner did not work anymore since Premiere change its name to Sky Germany [fixed] Issue with Technotrend where CI MEnu could trigger a crash [fixed] Stuttering on tv channels from the ProSieben/Sat.1 Mediagroup [fixed] removed blacklisting of FFDShow in TsReader - now it can be used again for the TV-feature and playback of ts files - make...
