The CLoud Environmental Analysis and Relief (CLEAR) system is a set of Android and iPhone applications to allow residents along the Gulf Coast to use a smartphone’s sensors to record data about ecological impacts, such as pictures of fish and bird kills, as well as enter data captured from external devices, such as portable water solids and PH testing equipment (included in the equipment budget). CLEAR will transmit this critical environmental data back to a cloud environment for aggregation and real-time prediction of the ecological impact.
