Beta4 is the first 0.3 version which has been updated to AMO. This version is released with the hope that all users of 0.2.x will upgrade. It'll be much easier to maintain gfwList if all users are using the latest AutoProxy. Please ... New feature: fallback proxy. If an URL is not matched by any rule, it'll be connected through fallback proxy. This feature is prepared for people who need proxy for all connections in their company/school. To enable this feature, open "about:config", type "autoproxy", find "fallBackProxy" and change it. Its format is similiar to "defaultProxy" or "knownProxy". Global proxy mode: visit all websites via default proxy. Syntax: '||' matchs a domain, rule '||example.com' matchs 'http://example.com/xxx' and also 'https://abc.example.com/yyy'. Syntax: '^' can be used as placeholder stand for '/' or ':' or '?' or '=' or '&' or END OF URI, etc. Add proxy server: GPass, Puff & sshgfw(though the port of ssh is not fixed, almost all 'ssh -D' tutorials choose '7070', convenient for newbies). Changed: Update translations: en-US, fr-FR, zh-CN Default proxy changed to Tor. New Logo designed by the master of blogtd Free Gate port: 8567 -> 8580 Firefox compatibility: 2.0 – 3.6a1pre -> 3.0.9 - 3.7alpre Core code refined, minor edit & minor bug fixes. Removed: "Disable proxy on this page" context menu has been removed. "Use proxy for this image/object/frame" context menus have been removed. "White list" feature removed. Rules like @@|https://www.google.com/reader, will no longer disable proxy of invoked third-party websites. Known bugs: First installation: have to restart Firefox twice (but not once as expected) if this is the first time AutoProxy installed. Proxy rules import / export error. Short key: some short keys don't work. Hit count feature has been temporarily disabled. 301/302 Redirect: can't update proxy setting after redirection, thus sometimes we have to refresh the page after redirection if it is blocked. Other extension: currently, AutoProxy can't change proxy setting of other Firefox extensions. If TwitterFox is setted to login automatically, the first login won't be handled by AutoProxy. Should not use proxy for feed:// scheme, doesn't matter it's URL matched or not. [Less]
