Ohloh General Discussion : 'Most Experienced in' and 'Commits by Language' sections should reflect *no. of commits* rather than *lines of code* or *Aggregate Coding Time*

Proposal: Volunteer contributors to FOSS or 'Beginners' at least, spend time getting into many aspects of a project rather than limiting their reach to just the languages they are good with. 1) This ... [More] should not be a basis for their 'Most Experienced in' to be determined. In such a scenario, Total Commits is a better metric to be taken into account, the next being Total Lines Changed. The Total Lines Changed metric too suffers from the possibilities that simple code rearrangements being counted in while ignoring actual lines of code newly written 2) The current working of 'Commits by Language' is not directly understood. It ignores my highest Total Commits" language and 2nd highest *Total Lines Changed language, in its entirety. my Contributor page Concrete cases: As my Contributor page states - -I spent my time in the order: C++ > Javacript > XML > Java which is not my preference. This is apparent in the Total Commits section -but the total commits I have are in the order: Java > C++ This is exactly in line with my interest. I choose to do more commits in one language because I am good with that language. Current behaviour My profile lists: -'C++' under my profile photo -'C++' in 'Most Experienced in' section and -'C++' in 'Commits by Language' section 'Commits by Language' section has no indication for 'Java' in which I have done almost equivalent lines of code as 'C++' but lists 'Python' in which I have barely worked [Less]
