I am in my normal dayjob a electrical engineer and manager of a development department. In my free time I am busy with open source projects. I have created the project open2300 (weather station software written in C) and I am the maintainer of the Motion project (camera motion detection software for Linux written in C). But my main time is spent on developing both the core and a series of plugins and I do release management for the Foswiki project (wiki written in Perl)
