Jody Garnett is an active open source developer working in the geospatial field serving on the steering committee for each of the GeoServer, GeoTools and uDig projects.

Volunteers with the OpenSource Geospatial Foundation as chair of the incubation committee focused on new project outreach. Currently servers on the OSGeo Board of Directors.

Works with new projects as chair of the top-level technology project, currently serving as committer rep on the LocationTech Steering Committee.
